After the great success of Ming’s „Die Geisterinsel” premiered by the Staatstheater Stuttgart in 2011, „Mirandas Atemwende” functions as a second act and continues his musical commentary on texts by Shakespeare through the poetry of Paul Celan and J. H. Prynne. Ming’s musical language is characterized by the coalescence of music and noise, exploring the boundaries between the concrete and the intangible. „Miranda’s Atemwende“ will be premiered during the Kontraklang Festival by the Kammerensemble Neue Musik in Berlin on November 27th. Both acts will be produced by the Gothenburg Opera house in Sweden next year. Ming’s works are published by the Edition Peters Group.
