Enno Poppe at “Acht Brücken”

A page from the manuscript of Laub

The festival portraits Enno Poppe featuring Rundfunk, Speicher and more of his works. Within four hours on May 12th two new pieces by the composer will be premiered: Strom for large orchestra and the septet Laub.

Enno writes about the pieces: “Both are long pieces and together they would last more than an hour. Strom is a work for orchestra that changes and develops very slowly from delicacy to massive monumentality and then back again to its delicate qualities. Laub is a composition that becomes more and more ramified and thus goes deeper and deeper.”
